Dutybound Servant

Timothy Suckow (aka Dutybound Servant / formerly Beatdrum) is an independent Contemporary Christian artist from Muskegon, Michigan. The stated goal of the "This Burning Bush" album is a personal evangelical outreach - to help bring those who deny the existence of God or the Salvation of Jesus to the state of being a duty-bound servant of Christ!

BeatdrumHe served in the United States Navy nearly 13 years, mostly as an Air Traffic Controller, attaining the rank of Petty Officer First Class. In 2010 he was honorably discharged and accepted a position of church custodian. Timothy often could be heard singing while vacuuming and cleaning toilets!  The duties ended when he embarked on a career working for an auto parts manufacturer where most of "This Burning Bush" was written!

Shortly before his departure from sailor life, Timothy began experimenting with studio software to bring renewed vigor to his array of original pop tunes. Finally encouraged him to take the step of releasing his music to the general public, "Dance Girl Dance" was made available through the publisher CD Baby under the name Beatdrum in March 2013 and can be found on all digital distribution stores such as iTunes, Amazon MP3, Google Play, etc. His rendition of the Christmas carol "Silent Night" is offered as a free download and a full music video is streamed on YouTube generating many views. "Back To Detroit (Motor City Remix)" was aired on WLCS-FM 98.3 MHz (North Muskegon, Michigan) numerous times prior to baseball radio broadcasts April-August 2015 leading to the album "A Secret Never Told" in 2016.

A major change was announced in 2017 when the artist decided to go Explicitly Christian instead of simply "family friendly." Beatdrum would now be known as Dutybound Servant and the new 9-song CD "This Burning Bush" was released June 17, 2017.  The first radio single was "Working While Praising Your Name" debuting in June followed by "Immortal" in August. A radio commercial advertising the album was placed on JOY 99.3 Christian Radio Holland, Michigan. Timothy was married to his beautiful wife Lori in May, 2018! A follow-up to "This Burning Bush" is in the process of being written and recorded!

Timothy often enjoys model railway creation and is a lifetime Detroit Tigers baseball fan.
